About Clohessy Harris & Kaiser, LLC
Clohessy Harris and Kaiser Architects was founded by Eamon Clohessy A.I.A. and James Harris A.I.A. who, having worked together for nearly fifteen years, opened this practice in 1987. Initially, our office concentrated primarily on the design of new commercial office buildings, but we soon expanded our design services to include Interior Design and Facilities Planning & Design.
In 1989, Richard Kaiser, A.I.A joined the firm to support the Interior Design segment of the practice, which grew significantly during the 1990s. It was at this time that the firm began to expand its design services further to encompass other building types such as data centers, medical, retail, industrial, ecclesiastic and residential projects, among others.
By 1995, the firm was enjoying a growing practice serving the corporate community in greater Hartford with projects ranging from personnel relocations to comprehensive design services for new corporate headquarter facilities.
Joining James Harris and Richard Kaiser on the senior leadership team and further supporting the firm’s philosophy of a team approach to the challenges of architecture, planning and interior design, Rodolfo Garcia, Steven Hine and Hugh Schweitzer were promoted to Partner in 2018
