Interior Designer
Clohessy Harris & Kaiser, a medium sized Architectural and Interior Design practice in the Hartford area, has an opening for an Interior Designer to join our team. This position will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to work with established corporate clients and grow our expanding presence in additional design segments, such as health care.
Position Responsibilities:

Guide clients through the design process, including test fits, programming, conceptual design, space planning and design development.

Selection and specification of architectural finishes and materials.

Aide in the specification of systems furniture and furniture finish selections.

Partner with senior staff to develop Construction Documents and complete Construction Administration work.

Organized, self-motivated, independent Designer with excellent interpersonal skills.

Client oriented mindset with superior presentation skills.

Working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably with corporate interiors or healthcare design.

BA of Interior Design is preferred.

Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with systems furniture and specifications.
